CDL Medical Certification Requirements
New federal CDL state certification requirements
for ALL CDL issuance and renewal
All CDL holders will be required to self-certify prior to January 31, 2014. You will be notified of the new requirements and provided with instructions from DHSMV. The notification process will be phased in over several months, starting in July 2012, to allow drivers time to comply by the January 2014, deadline.
